Matrimonial Matching and Marriage Compatibility for Wedding (Shaadi) without Tension

April 19, 2009 in Shaadi by Admin

Marriage is  a leap in the dark with full of positive feeling for many. Marriage Compatibility Astrology  helps by opening up the vistas of marital life. The practice of matching matrimonial horoscopes of the love match preparing for marriage (Shaadi, Vivah or Wedding) to ensure marital bliss and minimizing marital tension. Matrimonial Matching and Marriage Compatibility go together.

Marriage Compatibility Matching should not be just mechanical like it has become with most of the matrimonial services. It is often just software driven nakshatra, rashi or Kuta matching. Such marriage compatibility judgement defeats the purpose. Here we outline some of the astrological principles that must be incorporated in any true marriage compatibility matching.

  1. The planet whose house is/are occupied by at least two malefics remain confused, and is incapable of benefiting the native fully in spite of his being strong and beneficially disposed to him. He cannot concentrate on his assignments.
  2. Of the three factors – the house, its lord and the karaka-the lord is the most important agent. The operating planet may fail to materialize the matters of a house whose lord is not in touch with him. If the karaka concerned is also a party, the chances of the fructification of the ‘matters’ are almost beyond doubt.
  3. Retrograde planets belie hopes because of their deviation from normal behavior. They do some good if they arc functionally benefic and are also isolated. They bring in various troubles when they are opposed/aspected by or placed with other planets.
  4. The weakness of a bhava is made up largely provided its lord is reasonably strong. It is still more useful if the lord and the karaka work together.
  5. Opposition between planets even if they arc benefics (functionally or otherwise) dissipates a great part of their respective strengths. There is a tug of war, and the benefits to be enjoyed by the native during their operational periods are quite meager.
  6. The applications of both the types of friendships – permanent and temporary – go a long way in knowing the worth/attitude of a planet.
  7. A combust planet does some good in case he occupies a good house from the Ascendant and the Moon, and if his dispositor is also strong. During his operational period, the native does experience fears/tension concerning all the matter signified by him. If he is further afflicted, he troubles the native greatly.
  8. The Rasi sometimes may lead too faulty observations. Therefore, study of Navamsa is also essential to assess the extent of marital bliss.
  9. A mere examination of the horoscope  without consideration of the mahadasha and antardasha is not revealing about the tensions in married life.
  10. Sometimes, it happens that the matters signified by a Bhava are flourishing satisfactorily, but the native is not enjoying them fully. To know why it happens, we are required to consider the relationship between the Ascendant and its lord and the Bhava and its lord (under consideration). If they are in 2nd/12th or 6th/8th positions, the native finds difficulty in receiving ‘the results’ to his satisfaction.

April 18, 2009 in Shaadi by Admin

Matrimonial Matching for Marriage (Shaadi Vivah Wedding)  involving finding  harmony of mind between the husband and wife  for a happy marriage. Emotion, sympathy, love, dutifulness and taste are some of the functions of the mind. Mutual adjustment of these qualities brings peace.

The Moon rules over the mind. Naturally in both the horoscopes of the bridegroom and bride, the position of the Moon, influence of other planets over the Moon and the relationship of the Moon with Ascendant (Lagna) and lord of Ascendant is to be ascertained.

If one’s Moon is situated in the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 7th, 10th and 11th place from the Moon of the other, there will be good understanding between them. If the Moon is conjoined with Jupiter, the native will be magnanimous and sober. The Moon conjoined with Venus gives taste for arts, music and the native pursues the prevailing customs of the society. If the Moon is conjoined with the Sun, the native will be very dignified and always keen on prestige and honor. If the Moon is conjoined with Saturn, the native will always remain in fear apprehending that everybody is trying to harm him. If the Moon is conjoined with Mars, the native is courageous and spirited. He has a tendency to do everything very quickly. If there is a conjunction between the Moon and Rahu, the native will long for leadership and be reckless in every sphere of life. If the Moon is conjoined with Mercury, the native will be very intelligent.
