June 27, 2009, (Sawf News) – The theatrical trailer for Anurag Singh helmed Yash Raj Films (YRF) production Dil Bole Hadippa is being screened with the New York, another YRF production released last week.

The 2.36 minute long trailer is high quality and gives a drift of the film’s story. The YRF signature themes are all there in the footage – Punjab, romance, vibrant dance sets and good music.

Hadippa stars Shahid Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Anupam Kher, Rakhi Sawant and Sherlyn Chopra.

The film is due for release on September 18.

The romantic comedy based in Punjab is the story of a girl from a village (Rani Mukerji) masquerading as a male Sikh cricketer. She makes it to the men’s team captained by Shahid Kapoor to prove she can play as well as any man. Along the way, Shahid and Rani fall in love.

Mike Stringer (DHOOM 2) of London gave Rani Mukerji the makeover. The costumes have been designed by Manish Malhotra.
